Problem Note 34135: Incorrect characters appear upon invocation of the SAS/SHARE® server

DetailsAboutRate It
If you are using a localized edition of SAS, incorrect characters might appear when you invoke the SAS/SHARE server. For example, for an English edition of SAS, you might see the following message correctly displayed:
SAS/SHARE Server SHR1, state, running.
However, when you run a Chinese edition of SAS, you might see that part of the message contains incorrect characters. The incorrect characters in the message do not affect your SAS session. The tools for log analysis still work.
